- Artist Floor Talk -

Sunday 15 November, 3-4pm. Cost: Free entry Debra Luccio will share stories of her experiences with the QLD Ballet. Learn about her inspirations and gain an insight into the techniques used to create her artwork. From creating etchings from sketches made in ballet classes, to the large monotypes of final performances, hear more about the work from the artist herself.

- Visual Presentation of Artist’s Past Work -

Tuesday 24 November, 7-9pm. Cost: Free entry Enjoy a glass of Pikes Wine as Debra Luccio presents a viewing of her past work on screen. From paintings and monotypes of the figure, to working in New York with the NYC Ballet and the Tiffany Mills Company (a contemporary dance company), through to the current body of work with the QLD Ballet. Debra will speak of her influences and inspirations, of her experiences and about the work itself. An evening with the artist at Steps Gallery.

- Back to Basics: Learn or refresh basic drawing skills with Debra Luccio -

Aimed at beginners and those looking to refresh some basic skills, this class will focus on techniques to improve your drawing. Learn about proportion, composition and how to create volume and depth. Build confidence in your own abilities to draw. When: Sun 8 Nov 10-1pm Cost: $50. Pay on the day, no credit card. - Dynamic Life Drawing with Marco Luccio -

With an inspiring life model, Marco will teach you how to capture the dramatic poses that the model will hold. Learn how to create expressive drawings with pen and pencil. Different poses will be used each evening so if you would like to extend the lessons learnt, the second class would be a good opportunity to do so. Surrounded by the dancing figures of Debra Luccio’s artwork and with a glass of Pikes wine, this should prove a fun and inspiring night. When: Thu 12 Nov 7-9pm Cost: $60.
